Madie's last day of first grade was May 29, 2008.
BOO HOO. She did amazing. A's and cheers from all her teachers all year!
Mrs. Galloway is an amazing teacher and has the best manner with the kids.
We prayed all summer for a great teacher and God once again blessed us!
Pay attention to the boy in the orange stripped polo and Madie's face
while he has his arm around her. His name is Hunter and he has had a
crush on Madie all year. We have a bunch of love notes and other
affectionately drawn pictures from him. Madie acts like she does not
like it, but I see this little glimmer in her eye??? (SCARY)
She came home one afternoon and ask me what does it mean if someone
asks you "Who's your Man." I said WHAT and WHO said that to you. Hunter.
I told her to go back into school and tell that stinky boy that---
Daddy's my man
She also told me towards the last day of school that there are clubs
on the playground.

ME: Are you in a club?

Madie: No because they are sometimes mean to people.

Me: Who's in the mean club?

Madie: Yeah, Hunter is in a club and they chase and pick on people.

ME: Do they pick on you?

Madie: No, Hunter is the boss of the club and he tells them to leave me
alone so no one on the playground ever picks on me. Its nice

Me: Well maybe having a friend like Hunter is a great idea, since he can protect you.

Madie: Yeha he weighs over 93 lbs and is the biggest guy in school.

ME: Yeah lets keep Hunter as a good friend!!!!

The point is...She needs a protective big man friend at school, but not one that is sending love notes to her everydaay...oh my.
