A Beary good time at Build A Bear!

The girls love Build A Bear. They generally drool when we walk by the window in the mall. When Horsey Grandma (Kory's Mom) called to see what she should get the girls--we told her Build A Bear gift cards would be perfect. They opened their gift cards on Christmas morning and were jumping out of their pjs excited!
On our first shopping day here in Bella Vista the girls begged to find a Build A Bear. Daddy found one for them and they were so excited. The gift card allowed them to even pick out an outfit for their animals. This is a big deal. The few times we have done it the clothing is off limits. I can not bring myself to buy a $15 outfit for a stuffed animal. I can hardly spend $15 for a piece clothing for the girls let alone a stuffed animal. The girls totally felt like they were going all out.
Madie picked a leopard print pink cat, Jenna settled on a sparkly white bear and Nanny even picked a grey and pink kitty for herself! We all kissed the hearts and cheered while their animals came to life. They picked adorable outfits and even some shoes for their new loveys.
Madie named hers Amanda. No surprise since she loves Miss Amanda. Jenna named hers Alina, but changed to Sara at the last minute. Nanny with the help of Jenna named her kitty Sally. Jenna has a freckle inside her belly button that she named Sally, so the name is dear to Jenna's heart.

The point is...It was so fun to see the kids be able to do something that they long to do, and even more fun to not have to pay for it. It was silly expensive.
